Q: Is my pet shipping Tax Deductable?
A: IRS Publication # 521 ("Moving Expenses") states that pet moving is a tax-deductible relocation expense when your relocation and moving is for purposes of change of employment.
Q. Can I use my own kennel for pet travel through Animal Transporters?
A. Yes provided it is a travel approved kennel that your pet will be able to stand up and turn around in. Based on the size of your pet, we can recommend the needed size kennel - which can then be purchased at a local pet store or we can supply one for you. Please note: Your kennel may not be the collapsible type.
Q. Can I put my two pets in the same kennel to travel together?
A. No, for safety purposes - each pet must travel in his or her own separate kennel.
Q. Can I arrange to fly on the same airline flight as my pet?
A. Most definitely; however, you will need to arrange for your personal airline tickets directly with the airline. Animal Transporters cannot guarantee seat availability aboard aircraft.
Q. How far in advance should I contact Animal Transporters for my pet transportation needs?
